Ernesto Nemesio is
a first generation American born in Riverside, California, 1978.
In 1995, he attended Associates in Art and The Illustration
Academy. Ernesto received a diverse education having the privilege
of studying with Mark English, John Collier, Thomas Blackshear,
Steve Huston, Glenn Villpu and many other highly accomplished artists
during this time. In the spring of 2000, he graduated from Art
Center College of Design in Pasadena with a Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree with honors.
Nemesio takes every opportunity to paint en plein
air, as well as explore the realm of classical figurative painting.
He had his first solo exhibition at the Riverside Art Museum in
2002. Since then he has participated in several group shows. In
April 2004, Nemesio was selected as one of eleven artists to participate
in an exhibition organized by American Artist and FORBES, INC.
The artists spent ten days in London at the Old Battersea House
which resulted in the exhibition The Next Generation of American
Realist at Forbes Galleries. Nemesio is a mentor member of the
California Art Club and is currently working full-time at Pixar
Animation Studios.
